Dr. Laxmi Nalini

Dr. Lakshmi Nalini Kopalle is a distinguished endocrinologist with extensive contributions to the field. She serves as a Co-opted Executive Committee Member of the Endocrine Society of India and an Executive Committee Member of the Endocrine Society of Telangana. Additionally, she is an active member of the Community Outreach Committee of the Indian Thyroid Society, the Ethics Committee at Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences, and the Institutional Review Board at SIMS. Her expertise is recognized in academic circles as a reviewer for esteemed journals such as the Indian Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism (IJEM) and Thyroid Research and Practice. Dr. Lakshmi Nalini Kopalle has an exceptional academic record, securing the second position in the MD university examination and topping the DM university examination. Her excellence has been acknowledged through prestigious accolades, including the President’s Award 2021 by the Endocrine Society of India and the "Icon of Endocrinology" Award in 2024. She has also played a key role as faculty and organizing secretary in various national and international conferences. With a strong research background, Dr. Lakshmi Nalini Kopalle has authored 12 publications in national and international journals and contributed six book chapters on topics such as diabetes, endocrine disorders, heart failure, endocrinology of pregnancy, sleep, lifestyle, and sports endocrinology. Her current research focuses on eGDM, sleep and endocrine diseases, adolescent lifestyle, and hypothyroidism, contributing valuable insights to the evolving landscape of endocrinology.
